House Prices Up Again

Nationwide siad that house prices rose again in August by 1.6%, taking the average UK house price to £160,224, up from £158,871 in July.

Mortgage Lending Up In July

The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) said that gross mortgage lending rose 26% in July to £16bn.
